S.Sic

S. Sic is a Berlin-based DJ and techno producer whose musical journey dates back to the mid-1990s. His music stands for depth, precision, and a consistently reduced aesthetic, far removed from short-lived trends and superficial effects.

In the late 1990s, S. Sic became a regular part of the New Faces Program at Tresor-Berlin, where he held a resident position for an extended period. This phase strongly shaped his understanding of techno: functional, clearly structured, and focused on long-term tension and flow on the dancefloor.

A defining milestone in his career was the recognition by Richie Hawtin. S. Sic’s track “Restless Sea” was personally selected by Hawtin for the Cover Stars Selects playlist of Mixmag UK and subsequently released as an official remix on Hawtin’s audiovisual album CLOSE COMBINED via Plus 8 Records. This collaboration highlighted S. Sic’s artistic signature and his affinity for a precise, reduced techno aesthetic.

Alongside his work as a DJ, S. Sic has released music on various international labels, including Plus 8 Records, Mozaiku, Bordello a Parigi, and Tlaloc Records. His sound moves between groove-driven techno and hypnotic structures, with a strong focus on atmosphere, controlled dynamics, and functional club impact.

As a DJ, S. Sic follows a calm, narrative approach. His sets evolve gradually over time, avoiding obvious peaks in favor of continuity, control, and depth.
